Fem grunde til, at jeg elsker mandage   //   Five reasons why I love Monday’s

“New Monday, New week, New goals”. Jeg vågner op og tænker, “Yes Monday – Here We go again!”

1. Monday for me always means that you get a fresh start. Mondays are you chance to start again. Clean your slate, and think forward. “New Monday, New week, New goals”. It’s like every Monday we are given a new chance to improve ourselves. A new chance to kick ass (sorry my language), set new goals and think of what to achieve the week coming up. I’ve always loved Monday. I love starting a new week, it’s always so exciting – because no matter how much you try to plan everything, there’s always going to happen lots of fun unexcited things. It’s all about embracing that! Mondays are like a motivating quote for me. I always wake up and think – Yes Monday – here we go again! “Let me show you what I can do”. Throw everything my way, and I will come out on the other side even stronger.

New Day, NEW week!

2. Everything that’s been against you or been bothering you last week. Let it go, and start again! New day, NEW week! Monday is the day to start again if you feel like you’ve got a bit off track, you now get a new chance to correct it. It’s all about small steps the right direction. I don’t really get people who hate Mondays? If you do, then I’m really worried about you. Then I feel like it’s time to evaluate what you do. Are you doing what you love and makes you happy? It’s okay if you are not there yet, but then see the road there as a part of the ladder you need to climb as a part of the journey. Change you view for the positive, you’ll get surprised how much a positive mind can do. Monday’s give you a new chance to think ahead.

3. You have a whole new week to work on your goals. Therefor remember you don’t need to achieve it all today. Spread your to-do’s across the week, so you don’t stress yourself out before you even start.

4. Wake up early and write a to-do list and again remember to be realistic! I love coffee and especially on Mondays. My Monday morning is the most important one of the whole week. It’s like that sets off the tone for the week. I therefor make sure to wake up rested, and write down the to-do’s I didn’t manage to finish from the week before as this weeks priorities, so I know for sure I can tick them off my list. I write a list of everything that needs to be done, and plan when to do it, so that I know it’s not going to stress of surprise me later on during the week. There’s notning better than effective days where you feel like you’ve done the best you can do. I feel like a Monday morning sorting out my to-do’s with a good back coffee is the best way possible to kick start a new week. It’s time to get organized and set goals, and that’s what I feel like Monday’s are for.

Win win wiiiiin..

Glædelig mandag mine dejlige læsere! Lad os tage hul på en ny uge med åbne arme. Bring it ON!

  1. With each post you publish, I am quickly learning that we have much more in common than just our name! Most of my friends dread Monday, and even more, dread mornings. See, I’ve never quite been able to understand this because I’ve felt that Mondays are always a great opportunity to get a fresh start and leave all your worries behind. People also tend to hate mornings because they are tired and just want to sleep. To them it’s a reminder of their busy day ahead, but to me, it’s a time where I get to be mindful and enjoy my surroundings. Also, what types of workouts do you like to do in the morning? Yoga, pilates, high interval training, etc? I hope you have a wonderful morning!

    • I couldn’t agree more – it really is! It’s all about our mindset and what we decide to do with our motivation.

Glad you liked this post <3

  2. These are honestly the most unoriginal and empty “reasons” I have ever read, and all 5 of them are basically the same reason with different ways of phrasing. It easy to tell people to “go for your dreams” and “write your goals down” which is the most banal advice and I feel like you have just copied this from every other blogger? Did you even put the slighest bit of effort into this? I feel like you woke up and thought “how can I make easy money today?”. You write down everything that needs to be done and then you plan when to do it and then you do it and then you can tick it off? You mention something along these lines in all 5 of the reasons and it comes across like you think we are stupid. I have always liked you but honestly this post is so unoriginal and feels like you are taking your audience for granted with this empty, “filler” post….

    • Hi Melissa,
I am sorry you feel like that. I wrote this post to share some Monday motivation with you guys. I was actually sat in the sunshine in my boyfriends parents garden and felt inspired to write this. I love Monday’s and thought – why do I not share that with you guys. Maybe it’s not the most meaningful post I’ve wrote, but I feel maybe it could motivate some of you guys out there to stay on top of things. A great way to organize yourself and your week. I sometimes because I travel a lot get kicked out of it, so I myself would have loved to read a post like this to get myself “back on track”.
I have some more travel posts etc. coming up, but please do let me know then what sort of posts you would like me to write. I sometimes just get an idea, and then that’s what I feel like writing about.. Sad to hear it wasn’t your favourite post – hopefully my next one will be.
