WELCOME TO MY WORLD
A little glimpse into my daily life
My wonderful followers, as you know the last couple of weeks we’ve been living in my boyfriends parents house in North England, a charming city called; Durham.
Being here I feel grounded, it has a very homey atmosphere. Every day I either run or go for a long walk in the woods, which is located just a few minutes walk from Fergus parents house. After a few stressful months moving out of London, staying here in Durham have actually been very needed. We’ve both tried to tidy up lots of loose ends, catch up with friends and family and priorities getting some rest.
When Fergus and I started dating and I got introduced to his family his wonderful mother took us for a delicious lunch at Broom House City Farm. I never forgot about this place, since it has “Isabella” written all over it.
I dream one day to take my own children to this lovely place for an outdoor day visiting the farm and staying for a lovely brunch. It’s such a great place for families and the food here is just amazing!
The food from their lovely farm café is made from their own grown vegetables, meat, eggs, milk etc. You can by walking round their farm see how they care for everything they do and the products they grow.
Throughout their menu they only use the farm’s own products. On their menu you will find everything from traditional breakfasts to modern brunches, soups, sandwiches, burgers, salads and snacks. There are always a delicious range of cakes on display to enjoy with a cup of locally roasted coffee. You know what a big coffee lover, and I must admit their coffee beats all of Durhams great local coffee shops.
I haven’t tried their cakes yet – although they always look super delicios. My man was too quick at eating his malteaser cake (He says it’s highly recomended!) You can from his cheaky cute smile see how good it is, haha!
Another thing I adore about this place which I find so important in order for me to recoment you a place to visit is that there is a good and cosy atmosphere. The staff here is super sweet, and I’ve always left with a big smile on my face.
Next to Broom House Farm café they run an award winning Farm Shop that specialises in producing the finest beef, pork and lamb from this organic farm.
When the weather is good you can spen a full day here with very little cost. In the summer they open the doors and you can have your children running round the open area playing the all the children toys they have. In the winter they fire up the fireplace to keep it warm and cosy.
