Vi alle kender det, det er sidst på måneden og man prøver, at holde lidt igen med at bruge alle sine penge. Jeg bruger specielt mange penge på mad, det er en af mine helt store omkostninger. Dog er det også noget jeg føler, at jeg ikke vil “skære fra”. Min kæreste og jeg elsker at handle lækkert ind og lave god mad, men vi tænker os selvfølgelig om når vi er ude at handle. Vi tjekker altid inden hvad vi har derhjemme fx. i skabene, fryseren og køleskabet, som vi kunne lave noget lækkert ud af. Det er faktisk først da jeg flyttede sammen med Simon, at det gik op for mig, hvor meget mad spild jeg havde hver uge. Det var næsten helt skræmmende!

Nu er jeg blevet bedre til at improvisere med det vi har, det gør faktisk også det hele lidt sjovere fordi man pludseligt får prøvet nogle nye retter af, eller får dem lavet med nye ingredienser, fordi dem havde man ellerede derhjemme i køleskabet.

We all know the feeling, it’s end of the month and you try to not spend all of your money. I especially spend a lot of money on food, it’s one of my biggest spending costs. Although I feel like it’s something I do not want to cut down. My man mand I loves to cook and shop food together, but we always try and think about how much we spend each time. Before we go shopping for food we always check what we have at home in the fridge, freezer etc. and see if we can make something yummy out of that. It’s actually first when I moved together with Simon I started realizing how much food waste I had. It was actually quite scary!

Now I have become much better at improvising with what we’ve got and it actually also makes cooking more fun, because you suddenly try out new dishes or cook with new ingredients, because you already had those in home.

Min morgenmad for tiden er nu ikke ligefrem ekstremt inspirerende, men da utrolig mange af jer spørger mig ind til hvad jeg spiser, så tænke jeg, at jeg ligeså godt kunne dele med jer, hvad jeg får til morgenmad her for tiden. Vi har altid mælk, frugt eller bær og honning herhjemme. Jeg er stor forbruger af honning, det kommer både i min the, ovenpå min havregrød og en lille smule i min latte. Jeg eeeelsker det!

Jeg laver altid min havregrød på letmælk, og så syntes jeg det er bedst at bruge de fine små gryn frem for de grove. Det første jeg gør hver morgen lige når jeg er stået op er, at lave en god kop grøn thé! Jeg nærmeste drømmer om det og ser frem til den kop aftenen inden, når jeg ligger mig til at sove, haha! Er det unormalt?

My breakfast is not really super inspiring, but a lot of you guys always ask me what I eat, so I thought I wanted to share with you what I am having lately. We always have milk, fruit, bearries and honey in hime. I am actually addicted to honey. I use it both in my tea, on my oatmeal and a tiny bit in my latte too. I just loooove it!

I always make my oats with skinny milk, and I prefer using the small oats. The the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is to make myself a good cup of green tea with honey. I am almost dreaming of that cup in the night, and it’s something I look forward to waking up to when I go to bed. Haha! Is that normal?

Der er perioder hvor jeg spiser meget skyr og så skifer det pludseligt til havregrød. For mig skal min morgenmad altid være sund, hurtig og noget der kan gøre mig mæt i et par timer, da jeg altid spiser lidt sent frokost. Her virker havregrød bedst for mig! Jeg spiser det altid med frugt, chia seeds, honning og somme tider nødder. Det er super simpelt og det elsker jeg. Dog vil jeg til at tænke lidt ud af boksen, sådan så jeg kan dele lidt nyt mad inspiration med jer, men også for min egen skyld, da der er intet bedre end en afveksling af morgenmad’s menuen.

There is times when I eat a lot of yoghurt and then I switch to oatmeal. For me my breakfast have to be healthy, fast and something there will keep me full for long, because I always have late lunch. Oatmeal always works! I eat it with fresh fruit, chia seeds, honey and at times nuts. I love that it’s so simple. Although I want to start thinking more out of the box, so that I can share some new inspiration with you guys, but also for myself, I love to upgrade my breakfast recipes.

  1. That looks so yummy and start your day in a healthy way it’s the best thing ever. You get energized and ready for a new day. It’s so funny because the more you post the more I realize how much we are alike :).     • Oh really! Thats so funny love <3 Makes me really happy that you say that actually because you seem like such a warm and loving person.
      This breakfast I always makes days where I know I have lots of things to do or if I know I am going for a run etc. Then I am sure my body have lot's of energy.

  2. Jeg spiser virkelig også ofte havregryn til morgenmad. Jeg foretrækker det ret simpelt: fine havregryn, mandler, rosiner og sødmælk (og især mælken er vigtig – har prøvet alle varianter af sødmælk der findes på markedet og den absolut bedste er fra Gyllingnæs som skifter smag og fedtprocent efter årstiden. Den smager SÅ godt og slår både andre mejeri-favoritter som Naturmælk samt Thise. Derudover tilsætter jeg oftest lidt frisk frugt for at give et friskt og sprødt knæk.

    • Det lyder bare så lækkert! Jeg elsker også at lave min på sødmælk, det giver langt mere smag! jeg kan slet ikke forstå man kan spise det lavet på vand, haha! Det bliver bare så kedeligt og smagsløst. 😀
      Vil prøve med rosiner imorgen, det har jeg gjort før og smager super dejligt – specielt med frisk æble på toppen. Yummy.

  3. Yummy! I love oatmeal in the morning, and I alway use honey as well. If you want a tips on how to change it up a bit, I recently started having passion fruit on mine, and it’s really good! Gives it a bit of sour and sweet taste :)

  5. I’m sure I say this all the time when I comment but your photography is so beautiful! I find breakfast to be one of the most boring of meals and I really want to feel excited about it again, but that will, have to wait until I have my own house one day

    • It’s sp sweet of you to say love <3 It really motivates me to do better and better when I hear that, so thank you girl!

      I know that feeling, I felt the same before I moved here. I think to start posting a few inspirational and easy breakfast recipes, because that's something I myself would love to read. Because I like you feel like it's the most boring meal of the day - but actually it shouldn't be like that.

      Will see if I can change that feeling <3 My goal for the next couple of weeks!
