A little glimpse into my daily life

White summer dress on our way to Lanikai Beach

“When the flower doesn’t bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower!”

Hi angels, or should I say Alohaaaaa!

Checking in from dreamland; Hawaii today. Fergus and I have been here for about 8 days now, and we are both absolutely loving it. (As in REALLY loving it) We are staying at the laid-back North Shore on Oahu, and it’s no doubt one of the most magical places I’ve ever been. The mountains, green tropical nature, the water, the people and the cool and relaxing Aloha vibes. First now I understand the deeper and more spiritual meaning of Aloha (which means: love, affection, peace, compassion and mercy.) Aloha also stands for “to be in the presence of the divinity” or in the presence of (alo) the “divine breath of life.”

When you’ve been here for a couple of days you get to feel and live their “speed” of life. Their appreciation for nature, spreading love and living in the moment, which I am all about. To me there is nothing more valuable than to live life to the fullest every day. Being present with the once around you, and always value what you have instead of always wanting more and more. Bigger and better..

I was wearing this cute white summer dress on my Instagram stories yesterday, and I got a lot of compliments and questions from you all where it’s from. I bought it last summer from Free People Uk, and I actually loved it so much that I decided to buy it in two colours – so I have got it in a darker nude too, which is also very beautiful (especially when I have a bit of a tan, which is a work in progress, haha!). I tried to search for it on their website. so I could give you a direct link to it, but it is unfortunately out of stock.. BUT I have tried to link to a few very similar beautiful options above.

Yeah, everything about this place is just like I hoped and dreamed it would be. Everyone we’ve met is super open and friendly and is giving us all their local tips on where to go, where to eat and what to see.

It’s my first time exploring this beautiful part of the world, but Fergus have been to Hawaii before when we was young with his family and have dreamed of coming back ever since. He and his brother are both surfers and have watched multiple of cool surfer guys surf the biggest wave in the world; Pipeline which is just a short drive from our Airbnb, and he have therefore dreamed of coming to The North Shore himself – and now we are here and it truly is a dream come true..

There is only small waves at this time of the year, so I am hoping he will teach me how to surf one of the next couple of days so that one day I will get good enough to surf with him at his parents place in Coldingham, Scotland instead of being the one sitting on the beach cheering and dreaming of catching those waves myself.

There is a time and place for everything, and since we have another 3 weeks here – now is the time!

Yesterday we picked up our best friends Elvin and Bulent from the airport, so we have all rented a lovely Airbnb together just a 2 minutes walk from the beach – I can not wait to share it with you all.

Lots of love and Aloha vibes send from me to you xxx
